I wouldn’t say it’s helped me become more outgoing, but it’s changed the way that I look at people, address people. And when I say look at people, like when I’m talking, or before when I was talking to somebody, it was easier for me to walk up or to look away and not look at somebody in the eyes, just because I was ashamed of what they were seeing in me. I would walk with my head down, you know, just now it’s head up, smile, how you doing, you know, good to see you, good morning, when before you probably wouldn’t have got that much out of me.

It’s helped me become more of a people person.

My teeth have been an ongoing battle since I was very young. I had a calcium deficiency when I was just a kid. I ended up having four silver caps on the bottom of my teeth and that was it’s miserable.

So it just didn’t look right, looked weird, you know, got a mouthful of silver. After that, I had braces for six years. When I finally got them out, my wisdom teeth started coming out and I asked my dentist, I said, hey, should we have these pulls? You know, is it going to mess anything up that I’ve had done? Oh no, it shouldn’t be an issue.

Well, it was and it ruined everything that I had braces for for six years. It pushed everything so tightly together. It was hard to floss and over time with that tooth decay and stuff like that, it became an issue.

It was hurting. I had to have several root canals done and was trying to find a better alternative. And I kind of knew that dentures were the way that I wanted to go and researched it.

Traditional style dentures without any kind of placement, just except for suction. I knew I didn’t want that. I started thinking that I wanted the snaffle and decided against that.

All in four was what I was looking for. He let me know all the steps of what we were doing, how we were doing it, why we were doing it. Not only communicating well with me, but also the oral surgeon, Dr. Watts, who’s the two of them had to talk quite frequently about my procedure and how things went.

Dr. Parker was very, very good at relaying information from the other doctor as well. He let me know everything that was going to happen and what was happening, why it was happening. I love it.

I’m getting married in August this coming year, and my fiance is so happy. She can’t wait to take pictures on the beach. She’s like, you got to smile.

I’m like, maybe I’m going to smile. It’s nice to know that I can smile and not be self-conscious about a mouth that is lackluster. I’m excited about that, obviously, but I’m excited about being able to smile for those pictures too.

I used to be afraid to go to the dentist’s office. It’s just been enjoyable coming here and then the end result has been enjoyable for me since everything’s been completed. I appreciate everything that they’ve done for me.

I came a long way from a year ago and now I’m getting to benefit and enjoy the the new smile that I have. I didn’t even really know how to smile before I got these and now I’m happy with it. So it’s been very enjoyable.

Well, naturally, you start having pain with a particular tooth. Usually, it’s a crack in the tooth or something, which dictates a crown. And that’s one thing I wanted to mention. You used to have to go to an endodontist or a separate business to get a crown done, but they can do all that here. That even makes it… at the top. So, very appreciative on that. And it didn’t use to be that way for years. I mean, they just started that maybe a couple of years ago, and I think they’ve done maybe two crowns here. It may take a couple of trips to get it done, but at least it can all get done here. That’s one of the big pros.
So, they can take the mold here, send it off, and then on your next trip, they’ve got the crown, they can complete the job. It’s like, two occasions, they caught in routine cleanings. Yeah, the other thing I wanted to mention about the crowns, they can do the natural look of the porcelain instead of gold or silver, something like that, where it blends in with the rest of your teeth. So, I like that part of it. Yeah, that means a lot. It’s not sticking out, like when you’re smiling, you can automatically see gold or silver, or a different tone, but the porcelain, they can make it blend right in with the rest of teeth, so it just looks more natural. So, I’m all for that.

She comes around the corner, headed back to me, and she’s holding this thing and it’s spikes. So, I wasn’t really sure what it was and I… Her face is just, she’s shocked, you know? And so, I stop what I’m doing and I’m like, “What, what is it?” And she just lifts her lip and her entire tooth is missing. And I just probably turned as white as my pants. Like, it was a moment like, you just never expect to happen to you. And I immediately just was like, “Give it, give it to me, give it to me.” And I poured some milk, and I put it in there, and then it was like, oh, great, now what do I do? You know, I have no idea. TikTok only got me to the milk.
So, I started calling people, and I called her dad, and I was like, “We’re gonna have to take her to the emergency room.” And then I was like, “Oh, wait a minute, no. We’re gonna find our dentist’s number,” you know? And so, we got his number, and he was very quick to text me and say, “Can you send me a picture?” And I sent him the picture of the root and he was like, “We can save this.” He said, “Meet me at my office in about 15 minutes.” And I said, “Great, thank you so much.” So, I rerouted everyone else and was like, “We’re going to the dentist’s office, we’re gonna get this fixed tonight.” And luckily, it took, he was able to get it in very quickly and they braced it.
And then we had to come back a couple of weeks later for a root canal and that saved it from discoloring and stuff. But so far, we’ve had no problems with it, but I forbid trampolines, and I am now definitely a helicopter mom when it comes to things that she could possibly bust her face on. It happened on a Friday night at like six o’clock. And so, we were looking at the tooth wouldn’t have been able to save, we wouldn’t have been able to save it if he wouldn’t have shown up for us that night. She would’ve lost her permanent front tooth. And there’s just not a whole lot they can do past that, other than crowns, and later on, implants, and things like that. So, it not only saved her tooth, it saved us a ton of money and a ton of stress. it’s just, it’s unexplainable knowing that someone has your back like that.

I have a big smile. So before the veneers, it was really gummy. You saw more of my gums than you did my teeth. And also, I had eroded… Over the years, my teeth was eroded down, really small. And I knew in the back of my head that I was gonna get some cosmetic surgery.
It was a process. Like I said, I had referencing with my son and my husband, so that was two references. And I think it was like maybe the second visit is when I asked about it. And instead of saying, “Okay, we can go ahead and do it,” he was like, “What makes you think you need crown lengthening?” And then I told him my concern. And he set it up and did it for me.
It was pretty much…they close on a Friday, so I wanna do this on a Friday. And it was just me. And so, I think it was two Fridays, not in a row, but spread out, and he spent the day with me. I spent the day with him. First person after I did it, the next day, I called my son who is in Wisconsin working, we video chat. First, straight away, “Oh my God. You got your smile done.” Goes, “Oh my God, that looks great.” And so I’m like, “Okay, good.” And then, my 89-year-old mom, and I didn’t think it was that noticeable, but my 89-year-old mom, as soon as I went to visit her, “Oh, wow, your smile looks so nice and bright.” And I’m like, “Okay. Thank you.”
I have clients that looks at me, he goes, “What did you do? Did you get your…? Oh my God, are those your teeth?” Yeah, I’m dying with these.

Well, I’ve never really been that concerned about my smile. I’m not the kind of person that’s going to make the room glow when I walk in. That’s just not my demeanor. But I’m a military veteran, so for years and years, my major dental work was done by doctors or dentists out at Keesler Air Force Base. When I retired is when I really became an active patient here. And Dr. Parker has spent the last 10 or 12 years, I won’t say fixing what the Air Force messed up, but they have a certain way of doing business in the military and they’re not necessarily concerned about anything other than doing the bare minimum to get you out the door, and he’s about so much more than that. And when I had partials or when I’ve had crowns put in, he’s always concerned about the color of the tooth, making sure it’s just exactly right.
Matter of fact, I’ve got one tooth right now that he’s going to have to either pull and do a root canal or he is going to have to do something or do a crown because it was done shortly after the Vietnam era, and yeah. And they put a tooth in that nowhere nearly matches the color of my teeth. It doesn’t affect my smile because I just don’t care. But I did ask him the other day, you know, “Okay, can we fix that one?” I guess it’s because I have my 50-year reunion coming up next year from high school and I don’t want to walk in with this dark tooth in the back left of my mouth. And he told me we’d get that taken care of, that he would get it squared away for me. So, it is just knowing that I can talk to him, tell him what’s on my mind, and he gives me honest answers and makes me feel like I’m part of this team. That’s important to me.

What sets them apart is they put you at ease. They’re very…they have just a soothing connotation to them. You know, the staff, you know, Dr. Parker, you know, they just put you at ease. It’s just very soothing here. I think that’s important when you come into a comfortable atmosphere, because most people have this preconceived notion about dentists, you know, they just got that fear factor already preset in their mind. But here at Back Bay Family Dentistry, you know, you come in, it just, like I said, it almost feels like you’re coming home. Because it’s…like I said, family here, and you’re just coming home and they just…It just has that soothing, warm, welcoming feeling, you know, that just gets you kind of in that right mindset, right from the get-go. No matter what you’re…whether it’s a cleaning or a teeth extraction or wisdom teeth or whatever major procedure you’re gonna have done, it just has that warm feeling. I love coming to this practice because when I walk in, it feels like I’m walking into family. They’re very courteous, they’re very friendly, very hospitable, and what you see is what you get here at Back Bay Family Dentistry.

The implant started with a very old crown. It had, just the cement had come loose on it. At the time, I was not in Parker’s care when that happened. It came loose, and I had a friend who was a dental hygienist and I had text her, it was on a weekend. She had a dentist meet me at the office to put it back on. And somewhere in the process, it started decaying under the crown. And so, that went on for a very long time before it was discovered. And by the time it was discovered, there wasn’t enough tooth there to do another crown, so I needed an implant.
At that time when we discovered that, I was seeing Parker. And so, he had referred me out and I went and had the bone graph and all of that done, the removal and the bone graph and everything like that. And then they brought me back here for the actual implant itself to be placed on the top. And that was just again, amazing, because that was in my smile line. So, having that tooth saved, you know, and replaced with the implant was important to me. And then, you know, the crown, I’m a clincher, and so I tend to break my crowns. And it was an older crown. I had clenched until it was just busted up a lot. And it didn’t necessarily need to be replaced, but, you know, Dr. Parker had told me that they make ’em much stronger now and that he could basically give me a tooth that was gonna last a lot longer. And so, it had become a nuisance and I was like, “Let’s do it.” And so, I think we’ve replaced two so far of my crowns from me clenching. So happy they’re replaced.

Well, my mom, we had to put her in a nursing home, which is not too far from here, and she was having some issues with her teeth. And sometimes it’s hard to get, you know, the staff in the nursing home to take care of those because they’re not obligated to really take care of those things. And I mentioned it to Dr. Parker, and he said he could make a visit there. And within a couple of days, he was able to go see her, evaluate her, and he was able to get the issue taken care of, which was actually a couple of teeth that she had to get pulled because she’s like 88 years old and couldn’t do dentures, so we had to get a couple of teeth pulled. But anyway, they took care of the issue because she was complaining, the pain, you know, discomfort, that sort of things. Dr. Parker dropped in, took care of it, and made her happy, made us happy.
At first, I wasn’t sure if it was gonna happen, you know. I presented it to him and he said, “No problem.” He said he could get it taken care of, which meant a lot to me and my family, you know, because my mom’s at this nursing home and she is really…difficult for her to get out. Him making that house call was huge for her and for us. So, we were very appreciative, very thankful.

Since I’ve had a pretty long relationship with them, he’s learned to acknowledge when I say that I have an issue, that he pretty much understands I have an issue. I don’t show symptoms of problems like most people do until it’s very severe. So, typically, if I come in here and I say, “Hey, I have some pain,” he’s like, “Oops, okay, let’s go. We know it’s an issue. If you have pain, let’s get right on it.” And that’s the opposite. I’ll be like, “Hey, I have a twinge,” you know, and he does things until he finds, what is that problem? So, he’s very investigative. He listens to you if you know your body, and, you know, he’ll learn that. And he’s just very thorough, and he’ll make sure that, you know, they’ll call you after you have something done here, and, hey, how are you doing the next day, you know, to find out if there’s any lingering issues.
I actually had pain in a different area, and we couldn’t find anything, but he knew because I was having pain, it’s usually something advanced. So, he found out, it ended up being another area, and it was pretty severe. So, he did the root canal and he also did the crown and everything. His technique is really good. I don’t have any pain. Sometimes after you have a root canal, you have lingering pain afterwards. And I haven’t had any of those cases here, so I have a really small mouth. It’s hard to get into. We typically have issues trying to get to something if it’s in the back. And he’s managed to work around that and still keep me comfortable at the same time while he is working on those things.
And I have full confidence that he can do whatever needs to be done within his capabilities, and if he thinks it’s something beyond what he can get to, or I need more advanced machinery, or, you know, more advanced technology to do it, he does refer that out. And the fact that he can do the crowns here, you don’t have that coming back and forth a lot either. So, it’s pretty much one-stop shopping for me. So, outside of the fact that they do a good job and I love the personalities, the convenience of that, you know, the swiftness, you’re not making a whole lot appointments, missing work. So, that’s very nice.

Janet: They are very friendly, open, and very respectful of your privacy. They’re just good people. And you don’t feel like you’re going to a doctor’s office, you feel like you’re just going to visit. And they’re very calm and relaxing.
Cliff: I’ve been a patient here for over 20 years before Dr. Parker even became part of the practice. And when he came on board, I started seeing him and seeing him regularly. And he has assembled a team here that is just first-rate. Everyone here is professional, they’re courteous, they treat you like friends, and it’s just a very comfortable place to be.
Janet: I had not been to a dentist in probably 15 years and my husband said, “We’re going,” because I’m definitely afraid. I mean, just… I don’t know why, what happened along the way, but I’m definitely afraid. My first visit, very first visit here, he was just very understanding, very great bedside manner, calming. Just said, “There’s nothing to be afraid about.” And there was absolutely nothing to be afraid of through the whole process that everything they went through with me. Described everything that was gonna happen, and just was no problems. Not one in the three years that I’ve been coming here, just friendly and again, just very welcoming.
Cliff: I appreciate the fact that he has a calm demeanor, and he’s very honest with you when he’s approaching the procedure you may need, or when I ask… I always ask him the question, “What would you do if you were the patient?” And he always tells me precisely what he would do. And I’m not looking for someone to make a decision for me, but it helps me in my decision-making when he gives me his view on how he would want his mouth treated before he treats my mouth.

Janet: My husband, he said, you know, you really need to go and get… For health purposes, you know, we learned throughout the years that, you know, your teeth and your mouth is very important to your overall health. And it just terrified me because I knew that I had not been to a dentist in a long time and I thought this is gonna be really bad. It’s gonna hurt.
But from the very first, like, Cliff said, you walk in and they’re very welcoming. Not once since I’ve been through all the processes, because it’s a long process to do implants. It’s not just one day. It was a long process. Every time I came into this office, they smiled whether they were busy or, you know, crazy things going on. They were just very welcoming and caring. Their caring was, I mean, immediately, you could see that all over. And they were willing to help or do whatever it took to get my smile back because I’m just typically a happy person overall. He might not think so, but I am, and I love to smile, and I love to greet people and so this, my smile has just gotten bigger in the last three years and thrilled with every process of it.
Well, I had some teeth pulled throughout the years, so I did have open spaces and they told me, you know, they could do implants, or they could do a bridge or, you know, it was up to me what we felt comfortable with, with my husband and I, and they always included him with every decision because I was so nervous about everything. It was just a family decision and they said, you know, “This would work better for you, but we’re, you know, open to what… It’s your decision. Don’t let us make that decision for you. You do what you’re more comfortable with.” So, they were not pushy. So that’s why I enjoy coming here, and not afraid anymore.
They also gas. They let me do gas for the first thing, now I don’t need it. I just don’t need it because they’re really good at what they do. I didn’t realize how bad it was until I did get the implants and realized the difference that everything from my smile to eating everything, my daily routines were just changed for the better. So, I mean, I just, I couldn’t be more happy with their services.

I work in the bridge here. I work in Vietnam, and they put the screw on my gum, and they like a implant kind of, you know. But when I come over here that the root is rotten, so they have to take them all off, and they suggestion that what I need to do to get the bridge. It work good, and he told me what I need to do. He give me choice, and he suggest what should be done. And I did it. I really happy. And they work good. They fit good and feel natural. Nobody know that I have right in the front here. So, I tell everybody. My family, they say, “Your teeth look perfect.” I say, “Yeah, from Dr. Parker.”
I love it because I ask the… When the help Dr. Parker pick out color for me because sometime, one person cannot pick out the color to match. And they did help me, and Dr. Parker come in and help, see which way it look better. So, they don’t see… Some people they go get the special front. When you smile, either too long, or too short, or the color different. But after I put it on try adjustment, it look good. Really, I like it. I went to work, everybody didn’t know that, that not my real teeth, you know? So, I don’t mind to smile now.

I wore braces for a very long time in my teenage years which did stain my teeth very badly. And we always knew that one day I’d probably end up with veneers. It’s genetic, my staining. I was always a little insecure with my staining just because nothing ever worked taking the stain out. We’ve done many, many treatments trying to get rid of my braces’ stain. I had it across the front and it was noticeable to me. Maybe not to every eye, but to me for sure it was. And I never knew how much a smile impacted even your pictures or anything like that until we started my veneering process. We had the temporaries put on first, and I remember I took a picture, and I was like, oh, wow, that’s my smile. I’ve never seen it like that before.
And so, I could see past the stains now. And so, as we got my veneers, it really brought out my smile more. I love my teeth. I always get compliments on my teeth and I’m like, “Oh, thanks.” You know, but it makes a huge impact. I had my veneers done, we finished them on Thursday, and I got married on Saturday. I know he was stressed through making sure because it was a very quick process. You can tell in my wedding photos that my teeth are at their best. I see my smile, I guess more than most. I’m a hairdresser, so I look in the mirror with my clients all day long and my clients love my teeth. They’re like, “What did you do different?” And I’m like, “Well, I did get veneers.” And them noticing my teeth makes a big difference. No one’s gonna say, “Oh, your teeth are stained,” but they’re gonna be like, “Your teeth are white, and your teeth are really pretty. What do you do?” And I’m like, “Oh, they’re veneers.” And one of the things that they always tell me when I say, “Well, I have veneers,” they’re like, “Your veneers look so natural.”

It started… I didn’t even know Botox was something you could do for TMJ until maybe two years ago. I had a client, she was getting veneers, she had TMJ, and she was telling me about it and she was from out of town. And so, I just said something to Dr. Parker. I was like, “Did you know that you could do Botox for TMJ?” He’s like, “Yes, yes, yes.” He’s like, “You are a candidate for it.” I have really bad TMJ because I wore braces for so long, my jaw is offset some. And he found all that out with… He was doing the process of my veneers with all the impressions and stuff. It was always a thought, but I didn’t know if it would actually work.
And last January, it was so bad that I for weeks was just in pain. And he told me, “Let’s try it.” It took two weeks before it would work, but it has worked tremendously. I noticed a difference. I know when it’s coming up for me to redo it. Like, all right, I have to come in, I have to get my Botox done for my TMJ. I tell all of my clients that have TMJ, or they think they have TMJ, I’m like, “You need to look into Botox. It really works.” It has helped with my clenching, it’s helped with just the tension that I carry in my jaw from clenching and TMJ, and it even bend out my face muscles, I guess, my jaw-line. Even just driving down the road, I’ve noticed I wasn’t clenching as much and holding on.
Him and I had talked about it, he said, “You probably don’t notice it at work because you’re always talking, but when you have downtime, you’re gonna notice it.” And it was… Even laying my head on the pillow, I was in so much pain because I couldn’t even sleep. I’d wake up in the middle of the night with pain not knowing what it was, but it was my TMJ. The first… We stayed on top of it for the first year every three months, just clockwork. It’s so nice to have relief because no one wants to live with that pain.

I have a bad…chew on things just out of habit. And my old filling came out and wasn’t really having just a little pain, you know, but it was bad enough, I needed a root canal and a crown. And like I said, he explained everything to me, and you could even see it on the screen. And, you know, so that’s kind of cool, you know.
I hear people talk about how, you know, oh, root canal is so terrible, and it wasn’t that bad, you know. I didn’t think so, you know, I mean, you get a little sensitivity, but man, it wasn’t that bad. Like I said, did a good job, they’re still there. You know, what people made it out to me to seem like, because I’d never had one. The first root canal I’d ever had was here, you know. And people were like, “Oh, that’s still terrible.” But like I said, it wasn’t bad at all. I had the root canal and the crown.
I think I’ve had two other crowns, and like I said, years ago when I was a kid and had fillings, they were old, the metal and they just, you know, over time wear out. And I think the material they use today is better, you know, than it used to be. And I’ll chew on ice and chew on things and I have just a bad habit of that. And I’ve pulled fillings out, cracked teeth and Jeremy like, “Man, we need to go ahead and put a crown on.” I was like, “Okay, sounds good to me.”
And the crown is easier than the root canal, you know, I mean, builds up the posts, fits it and everything, you know, builds it, sticks it in, then I’m out the door, you know, with a brand-new tooth.

Being a scientist myself, I kind of feel like I understand these processes from a science aspect, not from just a…not that I’m a dentist by any means. But I can appreciate and I understand that teeth, you know, it’s a living organism. And when you add something that was manmade 40 years ago, that your teeth change as we age. And like I said, I’m 54 years old, I had some of these feelings when I was, you know, in my teens and progressively as I went into my 20s.
So I know that they’re getting old, and I know that I have grinding teeth, and I know that, you know, I maybe don’t take the best care of my teeth. Maybe I don’t floss as much as I should. Maybe I don’t do all that. That’s why now in my 50s I recognize that and I recognize the expertise, and when he can take that video and those cameras and actually show me on that 60-inch TV, what that tooth looked like, where there’s cracks, where there’s discoloration, what that discoloration is, and why I really should consider having those removed and replaced.
As you age, you need certain stuff removed and replaced. And I was comfortable enough with Dr. Parker to, you know, work with him to have that done, and that we worked out a plan because I had some up on the upper, lower and the other lower. So we worked out a plan so I wouldn’t be in the most discomfort, and yet not have to keep coming back every three weeks to get something else done. So we knocked it down to two visits. Actually, he did condense it down into one visit and I was able to get it all done in one day.

I’ve been coming here about a year, so I’ve made maybe four visits here, and then we had to have the extra procedures done to get my old cavities replaced. I have not had a bad experience, from check-in to the waiting time. They have a beautiful waiting room, but I never have to wait. I try to be that first appointment in the morning, so I come here maybe five minutes, and then I’m back in the back. And even back there, it’s not like a typical doctor’s office where they’ll take you to a room and lock you in a room for an hour before they even come in and talk to you. You’re in, you’re getting it done, and then you know the stations that you have to go to, you go from getting your teeth cleaned to checkout and all of that. I have good insurance, so that all goes smoothly and they take payment and I’m out the door and we’ll see you next time. Good follow-up with their appointment schedules. They, you know, again, that’s a new technology where they can use social media, they can use text messaging, and they definitely let you know when your next appointment is and they’ll remind you daily, and I’m fine with that.

A lot of pain, broken teeth. I’ve done had some pulled out. Like I said, I’ve been to different dentists and some of ’em would tell me my jawbone was too bad and then I couldn’t get ’em put in. That’s what I was looking for because I knew they had to come out. It was just, I had problems as a kid and they told me, I was probably gonna have to have something done eventually. So, they started breaking off and giving me pain and I’d have something pulled out here and there and it just became unbearable. And I had a bridge put in the first time. And that lasted for a while.
And then the rest of ’em started breaking. Like I said, I just randomly started looking through here and he was on there. He told me, he said, “We’ll do what we can.” And here I am, I got a full set now and I love them. I can finally eat anything I want to eat now because before I was having to just really no chips, no hard things. I didn’t eat a steak for like three years and then now I can eat steak again. That’s one I asked him, I said, “Can I eat anything now?” He was like, “Yeah, go for it.” I forgot where I went. I went out somewhere. I think I gained five pounds that night just eating.
Yeah, man. It was a good feeling, man. It’s hard to describe, but, yeah, you know, you’re a grown man. You don’t get as excited about things anymore like you were a kid. But man, it was good, it was a long-time coming, man. That’s why I’m just about done now so I can finally relax and do what I need to do. I mean, even my teeth before weren’t this nice and I didn’t smile a lot then because they were a little big in the front and people told me not to worry about it, but, you know, self-consciousness. And then when I got these, man, the first night, people were asking me if I had braces and all kind of stuff. I’m like, “No, I just got good teeth.” I wasn’t gonna tell ’em they were fake. If they could figure it out, that’s on them. But, yeah, I tell people all the time, you know, “You got problems? Come to this man right here, Dr. Parker, he’ll hook you up.”

I had a reconstruction in 1994, and the technology we had then is different than it is now, obviously. I was beginning to have some structural failing after 25 years, and I was very active athletically, you know, boxing and sparring and pretty high-level sports when I was younger. So, I was always biting on my mouthpiece. I would take some, you know, sparring shots in the jaw and stuff.
So, I came in to have him look at repairing what was going on, discussed it with Dr. Parker, and with some of the staff, and decided that this was the best route for me to go. This would actually eliminate all of my issues that was happening and potentially going to happen in the near future. So, at that point, we created a plan and come to an agreement on the plan, and we implemented it, and we’re done.
When we began discussing the treatment plan, there were several options. I believe there was three different options I could have chose, and I chose to actually have the fixed or the hybrid, which is not removable, and it looks very much like my original teeth look. I didn’t want the removable dentures, I didn’t want the snap-ins. I needed something a little more durable.
For a little way that I live, I didn’t wanna have to worry about anything coming in fast. And also, this was the option that we chose. Within that option, there were also multiple options on material types and things like that. And we discussed it and come to the conclusion that what I have now is the best that technology allowed, and it was the best fit for me. And as the final was done and I walked out, I was almost immediately told that I looked good.
So, it makes you feel good. People notice, and I’ve actually have several people notice how nice they look and how natural they look and such like that. We did a couple modifications, if you will, to make them look more natural than perhaps a normal denture would. And they were definitely able to do that. And now I’m so glad that we did that. So, that was an option that we did mid-stride. I mean, keep in mind that I had already had my… I believe I was on my second temporary set. And then we changed this, and on my final, it came in, and it looks great. It worked out wonderfully.
